GPS Topographic Survey
1. 3-Some previous knowledge due to the sandbox survey
2. 4-Could teach someone else what I did
3. 5-Hands on affect very effective
Arc Collector Part 2
1. 3-Some knowledge due to previous weeks lab
2. 4- Could teach someone else
3. 5- Hands on approach very effective. Gets students thinking to have to come up with their own project and attributes.
Microclimate
1. 2-Some previous knowledge
2. 4-Could teach to someone else
3. 5-Loved hands on approach. Very helpful for data collection.
This would have been better if we discussed in more detail how we wanted to collect data for wind direction and make sure everyone is on the same page.
Tree Survey
1. 1- No previous knowledge at all
2. 3- I could repeat what I did
3. 5- Hands on approach really helps me gather and understand the different data collection methods.
SANDBOX SURVEY
1. 3- Some previous knowledge
2. 4- I could teach someone else
3. 5- Hands on approach extremely effective
This assignment could have gone smoother if certain groups had to use different sampling methods. We could then see the maps that the different types of sampling create.
Assignment 1
1. 2-Very little knowledge
2.
Assignment 2
1. Prior to this activity, how would you rank yourself in knowledge about the topic. (1-No Knowledge at atll, 2-Very Little Knowledge, 3-Some knowledge, 4-A good amount of knowledge, 5-I knew all about this)
1- No previous knowledge
2. Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic (1- I don’t really know enough to talk about the topic, 2-
I know enough to explain what I did, 3-I know enough to repeat what I did, 4-I know enough to teach someone else, 5- I am an expert)

5- Strongly agree
One think to make this project run a little smoother would be to have more handheld GPS units in the field. This way we could have had multiple groups gathering point data at the same time.
Assignment 3
1 2. Very little knowledge before this activity
2. 4. I could show someone what I did
3. 5. Strongly agree that hands on approach helped me greatly
To improve this activity, a better background of the tools would be helpful. Also, if we knew from the beginning we should be working together and not just with our individual partner this activity would have gone much faster.
ASSIGNMENT 4
1. 2-very little knowledge
2. 3-Could repeat what I did
3. 4-Hands on was very effective
I would like to have had a larger background in the different kinds of sampling and what would be effective in this situation.
